Rana's is not commented againest Balayya

The true material of a superstar or celebrity doesn’t lie in success alone. It depends on how he carries himself in the society and how he relates to others. Perhaps that is something Daggubati Rana is yet to learn. This is an advice the Nandamuri fans and few cine seniors were giving him after hearing his recent statement.

Incidentally, Rana was sharing his thoughts in an interview when he stated “It is impossible that actors like me, Allu Arjun, Ramcharan, Naga Chaitanya can reach the stage of Nagarjuna or Chiranjeevi because they are icons and legends.” While the statement looks fine, here is the missing link.

Many who followed the interview asked why Rana didn’t mention about Junior NTR or Nandamuri Balakrishna. Both actors have made a mark for themselves and in comparison, junior is leagues ahead of Rana, they add. Some of them were quipping that Rana has a long way to prove his mettle in cine industry so it is better he avoids such ‘Chinna Choopu’ on some deserving colleagues.

Why allu arjun given warning to sneha

The newly wed celebrity couple of Tollywood is Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy. While their new journey has been all colorful and romantic, it is heard that Bunny has reportedly listed out the rules of the game for being part of a celebrity family to Sneha. This came to us from a common friend to both Sneha and Bunny.

According to the source, Bunny had a talk with Sneha and said “Now that you are associated with a Celebrity family, you have also become a celebrity. So, it is natural that your friends will be curious to know how things run in our family. Because they are close friends if you share something, unknowingly they will spread about it and it will reach the media“

So, Allu Arjun reportedly advised Sneha to be careful with her statements. This was more of a lovely but very concerned warning to Sneha. The source said this is justified but maintains that Sneha is a level headed girl who hails from a respectable family, so she must be able to handle such things.

It is known that the film 'Shakti' that is scheduled to release this month-end is releasing with a delay of 15 days. Popular TV channel is also making big plans to bag airing rights of wedding from Narne Srinivas, the owner of Studio N as well as would-be FIL to Jr NTR.

And now the point is the scenes of NTR's wedding are going to be added in the film ‘Shakti' at the end.

It is heard that Krishna had a massive house in Film nagar area near Ramanaidu studios. When the real estate market was high and the boom time was on, the superstar went ahead and sold his house at a peak rate. Right now, the talk is that the market value of this house is not even 1/4th of the rate he sold.

Sources say Superstar sold the house for a whopping Rs 16 crores during 2007-08. Now, here comes the masterstroke. After that, he waited patiently foreseeing the fall in the prices. As soon as the slump hit the market, he selected a property at Nanakramguda and bought it when rates were low. The cine folks say “Superstar Krishna is not only a successful star but also an intelligent man. Anyday, superstar Krishna is superstar Krishna”.

Japan Tsunami A Harbinger Of 2012

Despite many advancements and discoveries, man has been helpless in front of one thing- nature.

A classic example for that is the Tsunami- Earthquake in Japan. While I dread to think what would have been the impact if it had struck India given our lethargic and unprepared nature, it is the sheer impact which is raising a concern. This is giving rise to a big question- are we reaching the end of the world? Has the time come for the prophecy of world’s destruction in the year 2012 to become true? Is the incident at Japan a harbinger to what is to come the next year??

Well, if a country like Japan which is always on a ‘ready’ state given its earthquake prone geography is helplessly trying to emerge out of this crisis, what would be the situation if such a catastrophe were to strike at any other place. As it is, some unusual weather experiences like extreme snow in Europe, severe heat in tropical countries, excessive rainfall are symptoms of the imbalance in nature.

Practically, there are no two words that man has been responsible for the entire shake-up in the ecological equilibrium thanks to his unrelenting greed of money, power and commercial thinking. So here is an imperative rule, let us not forget the roots of our existence and the very fact that a human also comes from the chain of nature and if he tries to break free from it, Nature has its own way to react that will take centuries for the human race to recover. If Japan is a prelude of what is to come then it is time for all to gear up and face the eventual happening.

Shakti Music Review industry talk supuer hit

The film has NTR junior in the lead along with Ileana while the music is composed by Mani Sharma. Let us see how the songs are..

Thaliya Thaliya

This is the title song of the film and it is a highly energetic number. Mani Sharma has given a total mass effect to it with his mix of drums, tabla and other traditional instruments. Rama Jhogaya Sastry has penned some flavor of Hindi words and gave it the right blend of traditional and mass words. This will appeal to the masses.

Prema Desam Yuvarani..

This is a romantic melody and it takes off in a very unusual manner. Mani Sharma shows his brilliance by using the right composition of flute, keyboard, guitar, violin and gives a soothing effect.Both shared a good chemistry and were in good sync with the tune. Rama Jhogaya Sastry gives a lot of sensuous feel through his words and this is a nice combination of music, voice and words.

Mathileka Pichiga…

This duet has been given by Ranjith and Chinmayee and both did their contribution effectively. Jonnavithula penned the words in a sensible way by teasing the listener’s thoughts and giving a raunchy feel with his lyrics.

Maha Rudra Shakti

With a good combination of drums, percussion instruments, violin there is a lot of positive vibration in the tune. Equally good was the vocals from artists Ranjith, Muralidhar, Rita, Vardhini, Saindhavi, Hanumantha Rao, Hemachandra, Malavika. They used the right chord to show the intensity and religious fervor.

Surro Surra

A spicy song with mischief and entertaining feel, Mani Sharma also reveals his lighter side by composing a tune which provides energy, gusto and fun loving nature. The mix is very effective with western and traditional beats. Javed Ali, Suchitra have given their voices for this duet and Suchitra has got a strong presence with her husky vocals. Rama Jhogaya Sastry shows his eroticism by penning some interesting lines with tongue-in-cheek meanings.

Yamaga Unde

This is a fast paced song and it is a mass song with western beats. Mani Sharma has given dance beats and this will appeal to the masses by getting it the right chorus, proper blend of drums, percussion instruments. The speed is very high in this track and the duet was rendered by the duo of Karunya, Malavika. Rama Jhogaya Sastry uses the regular terms like young tiger, A1 star and makes it very simple to understand. This is an okay number nothing great.

Mahishasura Mardhini

A highlight song of the album, the track has got an excellent feel to it. Mani Sharma has given a soul to it by mixing it with modern beats but respecting the sanctity of the song.Both Srivardhini and Sharath rendered their voices in a modern tone but gave a classical feel to it.

Overall, the album is prepared with mass, class, tradition and romance. The ingredients are in right proportion and as usual, Mani Sharma follows his signature style of composing without trying anything off the beat and he has delivered elegance. The songs must be heard two-three times to get the right feel and sync with it.

Dongala Mutha Telugu movie Review

Story:

Sudhir (Ravi Teja) and Rani (Charmee) are married couple whose car faces a problem and nearby, they see a resort. On entering there, both of them come across unusual staff with unusual names (Subbaraju, Supreet, Brahmaji).

While Sudhir, Rani try to escape the story takes a twist with the arrival of Shiva (Lakshmi Manchu) and her assistant Richard (Sunil) who claim to be thieves as well. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Performances:

Ravi Teja has come up with a decent act. However, he has a mild body language and minimal energy levels in this one and this may not go well for his fans.

Charmee looks naturally seductive and she does her bit aptly. The impressive thing about her is the diction in Telugu which has come out flawlessly from her. She can start dubbing for her own voice from now on.

Prakashraj was consistent, nothing different from him. Subbaraju was effective, Supreeth brought few smiles, Brahmanandam was usual and did his bit as required. Brahmaji was unique with his body posture. Sunil was literally silent.

Analysis:
First things first, Ramgopal Varma must be appreciated for his self conviction in thoughts and beliefs. The very idea of coming up with a film in barely 5-6 days and that too with a paltry budget is commendable. Added to that, the making is technically efficient and it is on par with the regular mainstream cinema.

However, what Ramu must realize is audience is choosy and when a brand like him is coming up with a project, the level of expectation is high. While the experimental thought is acknowledged, Ramu should also realize that there is an aspect of entertainment, content required to give the audience their money’s worth.

Overall, the team must be appreciated for their efforts and the cast for their convincing performances despite a hollow script. At the same time, this is not a film meant for the regular audience or those who seek formula films.

Raaj telugu movie Review

The class hero Sumanth has now arrived in a commercial formula treat and this time he has enough ammunition in the form of the heroines Priyamani and Vimala Raman. Let us see how the film is.

Story
Raaj (Sumanth) is a fashion photographer. He loves Priya (Vimala Raman) but he loses her whereabouts and reluctantly gets married to Mythili (Priyamani). But he is unable to tell Mythili about Priya and finds it difficult to adjust with her.

However, things change and they get close. Just when things look to settle, Who is Priya? Why does she leave Raaj without a word? What happens to Raaj-Mythili’s relation after Priya’s arrival? All this forms the rest of the story.

Given his sophisticated looks, Sumanth is a total misfit to this character. He failed in romance, fights, dance and looked disinterested while enacting the emotional scenes. Despite having strong steamy scenes with Priyamani, Vimala Rama he could not deliver that chemistry.

Priyamani goes totally extreme in her skin show and does justice to her remuneration. However, she should have taken care in the make up and costumes department. Some scenes make her look like a C-grade heroine.

But she scored better than Priyamani in the makeup, costumes departments. The flip side is the dubbing for Vimala which reminded of a monotonous TV artist. Already, her performance is weak and the dubbing put her in negative scale.

Srinivas Reddy gives an overdose of adult comedy and Ali has no limits to his flavor of adult comedy. His characterization makes you feel that the old timers Nagabhushanam and Rajanala were much better.

Despite many attempts, it is clear that Sumanth fits the best for classy roles and is a total misfit for commercial and mass roles.

Either he is being misguided or he is not aware of his own limitations. If only he stuck to classy roles and sophisticated image, he would have got the backing of select audience and could have made his career as a minimum guarantee hero.

‘Raaj’ is one of those masterpieces which belong to the category of torturing the audience in every scene and camera movement.

Right from first scene, the audience goes through third degree torture and becomes a victim of the director’s creativity. The film reminds many of a C-grade Malayalam movie and if you thought that tsunamis happen only in the seas, ‘Raaj’ will give you the experience in cinema theatre.

Rana in English

Rumours began to spread recently that the tall and handsome hunk Rana Daggubati of Leader fame has signed a Hollywood project.

It was said that the actor had done a trial shoot of this Hollywood film with international film maker Aditya Bhattacharya (son of well-known filmmaker Basu Bhattacharya) at an undisclosed location in Hyderabad.

But reacting to these reports, Rana cleared that it is an

English film, not a Hollywood film.

First the promos are made and then they go to the studios. By this year-end or early next year I might start shooting the film," he said
